Titles are bestowed, confirmed and/or rejected by membership in each specific community’s. Selection and removal from depend on various factors, including the individual’s contributions, achievements, or position within the community.
- Arbiter: Arbiter is a judge, and arbitration is the act of judging, or serving as an arbiter of cases brought before them by the building out the community, society, often in fields such as arts, Mediators and Moderators of a community.
- Mediator: Neutral parties who help resolve member disputes. However, unlike arbitrators, they do not render binding decisions. Rather, mediators help facilitate discussion and guide the parties toward a mutually acceptable agreement.
- Moderator: A hierarchy title ranking above a member but subservient to a Mediator and the Arbiter. It is often granted for notable public service or specialized knowledge or training useful to the function or the community. In the community it is generally thought of as an honor.
- Founder: Honorary position held by Inventors, Creators etc. They have no authority other than providing visibility guidance and speaking at meetings.
It’s important to note that these titles are often part of a broader reach of service to the community!
